Regional Innovative Network

Regional Innovative Network

The Regional Innovative Network Venetian Cluster for Cultural and Environmental Heritage economically and culturally develops the territory through the public-private chain of the creative sectors and heritage. Recognized by the Veneto Regional Council in 2015, it promotes innovation and knowledge transfer, bringing together businesses, public bodies, and research institutions.

The Regional Innovative Network

The Regional Innovative Network Venetian Cluster for Cultural and Environmental Heritage was established to economically and culturally develop our territory through the public-private chain of creative, cultural, and cultural-environmental sectors. The RIR has a long history, formally approved by the Veneto Regional Council in 2015, and is the continuation of the previous Veneto Meta-District for Cultural and Environmental Heritage, which from 2006 to 2014 completed dozens of projects and activities.

The RIR actively participates in the strategic development of the Veneto Region (according to the European smart S3 trajectories), promoting research, development, technology transfer, and training projects.

Encouraging the territorial and economic development of the entire public and private Cultural and Environmental Heritage production chain
Identifying and coordinating projects at the regional, national, and international levels
Supporting companies and professionals, and enhancing excellence by stimulating competitiveness
Promoting coordination and synergy among the various entities engaged in the sector
Promoting and supporting innovation, research, and technology transfer projects

The RIR actively promotes the strategic development (S3) of the Veneto Region, facilitating the implementation of research, development, technology transfer, and training projects. It is formally managed by the public-private consortium known as the Cluster Management Network, which includes direct participation from several companies and the UNIVeneto Foundation (the foundation of the four public universities of Veneto)
