Short Description
The BioTech2Agri call, launched under the Interreg VI-A Italy–Slovenia Programme, offers 40 agrifood SMEs (20 from Italy and 20 from Slovenia) a free innovation support package aimed at boosting competitiveness, sustainability, and internationalization through biotech adoption.
Eligible Applicants
Micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) operating in the agrifood sector with a registered or operational office in:

Italy: Province of Venice and the Friuli Venezia Giulia region (Pordenone, Udine, Gorizia, Trieste)

Slovenia: Primorsko-notranjska, Osrednjeslovenska, Gorenjska, Goriška, Obalno-kraška regions
Call Objectives

Promote biotech solutions in food, agritech, nutraceuticals, and cosmetics

Foster innovation, sustainability, and cross-border cooperation
-
Connect SMEs with R&D providers and funding opportunities

Support business model development and market scaling
Available Support
Each selected SME will receive a free service package worth approximately €5,000, including:

Technical feasibility assessment of biotech adoption

Business model development
-
Guidance on funding opportunities
-
Participation in a cross-border networking event
